Our Mission
The Contemporary Education Foundation (COEDFO) was established in 2010 by a group of Turkish-Americans residing in Dallas, Texas area. COEDFO received Tax-Exempt status as a charitable non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(C)(3).
In 2012 COEDFO merged with Global Education Outreach Foundation (GOEF), formerly
The Contemporary Education Foundation (COEDFO) was established in 2010 by a group of Turkish-Americans residing in Dallas, Texas area. COEDFO received Tax-Exempt status as a charitable non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(C)(3).
In 2012 COEDFO merged with Global Education Outreach Foundation (GOEF), formerly known as Turkish American Education Foundation (TAEF); a 501(C) organization. TAEF was established in spring of 2001 to provide financial and educational assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey where over 30,000 people lost their lives and the area was devastated. Both organizations having common mission and objectives decided to merge their efforts and strengthen their impact.
